Jason M Gayl, Managing Partner

Jason Gayl is a business transformation expert with deep expertise in growing privately held companies that support the US Defense, Intelligence and Homeland Security community in cyber security, data analytics, cloud IT, C4ISR, and other advanced technologies. 

Jason provides financial and strategic counsel to lead executives and investors establishing early stage technology ventures and executing growth strategies.  As Managing Director for Venture Management, Jason advises companies that support the US Defense, Intelligence and Homeland Security community.  Jason grows companies by cultivating reporting, infrastructure and management; negotiating strategic partnerships; and guiding success through targeted acquisitions and recapitalizations.

Jason developed his suite of expertise through 20 years of finance, accounting and corporate development experience, with over a decade of advising small- to mid-sized government contractors on growth and exit strategies.  These include revenue optimization strategies through strategic partnerships and equity transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and recapitalizations, with a particular focus on sourcing, vetting and negotiating proprietary acquisitions. . 

Prior to Cyber Capital Partners and Venture Management, Jason developed his financial analysis and modeling expertise at the Calvert Group and Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. Jason received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Boston University and his MBA from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business, with concentrations in finance, strategy and entrepreneurship. He is active in the Washington DC new venture, and small and middle market community.


J. Fritz Finley, PARTNER, Technology

Fritz is an executive management consultant with a focus on enterprise infrastructure transformation and cyber security innovation. Fritz has a lengthy career in supporting the cyber security efforts of key intelligence agencies.  Fritz has been the Chief Technology Officer for multiple organizations that have focused on technology transformation for the Intelligence Community, Federal agencies, and large corporate customers. 

His specialties include newly developed technology evaluations, enterprise data management design, infrastructure automation and optimization, cyber security risk mitigation, and M&A technology due diligence. He has also designed a cutting edge data center and cloud managed services platform to enable information sharing while maintaining compliance with data protection best practices.


Candice Santomauro, chief, Growth and operations

Candice provides development and operational support to senior leadership, which include providing strategic guidance in program development and capacity building, creating and executing fundraising and capital plans, establishing and managing relationships with key stakeholders, investors and funders, crafting location-based strategies for effective program implementation, developing collateral and marketing materials, as well as grant proposal and report writing.

Candice's role at Cyber Capital Partners and through its affiliate, Venture Management, is to fund development and managing relationships with prospective and existing clients, particularly those related to the military. Along with providing strategic guidance on the overall growth and operations of the organization, Candice is responsible for supporting the establishment of Cyber Capital Partners corporate social responsibility division to provide philanthropic support to the local education community.
